 We ought to have a page on on oxen, water buffalo, carriage horses, donkeys, yaks, etc - but we have very little information on the subject. If anyone can supply this information, please write to: info@aapn.org Apparently China has the world's largest population of donkeys - an estimated 10 million. Generally speaking, we have no
quarrel with subsistence farmers who work hard and honestly to survive in poor
agricultural land. It is usual to find that they treat their animals as
well as they do themselves and their human families. Man and beast work
